Happy 2010
Happy New Year to everyone!May we wish you all a fantastic 2010, as we see the year in with the extreme wintry conditions.
Despite the bad weather, we haven't had many cancellations and our patients have mostly been able to attend their appointments.
I made several attempts to clear the snow/ice from the car park but was thwarted each time by fresh snow and ice forming on the Tarmac. A lack of Salt has also been a problem so thank you to everyone who has braved the conditions. We'll be better prepared next year!!
We are all looking forward to 2010. Several of our Nurses are taking Examinations. We are sending Anna on a surprise trip to Northern Ireland to visit her family. The March Practice meal out will be to the Boston Spa and Tadcaster Round Table Casino Night at Rudding Park. Posh frocks and black ties. I won't recognise anyone....
Paul Calder and his wife are expecting their first child...we are all very excited for them both.
I am cycling the Coast to Coast (off road), largely following Wainwright's route. this will be about 210 miles over 3 days. Now where were my cycling shoes?
We will be running another Childrens Competition shortly. Watch this space.
